Description
This half-day excursion combines the charms of old and new Mexico, beginning with a drive through Marina Vallarta village. Then, you will travel north to the countryside, passing through the quaint town of Ixtapa, one of the few remaining farming areas in Puerto Vallarta.
Visit the Hacienda Doña Engracia tequila factory and learn about the process of transforming the blue agave cactus into world-class tequila. Sample various grades and flavors of Mexico’s favorite spirit.
Browse for souvenirs en route to central Puerto Vallarta. In the downtown area, your guide will lead you on foot through charming cobblestone streets to the beautiful and popular Malecón (waterfront promenade).
You will visit the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Old Town City Hall, with its magnificent waterfront views.
Guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so but must make their own way back to the ship.

Modest attire is required for visiting the cathedral; knees, shoulders, and midriffs must be covered; shorts are not allowed.
